BCA’s resident director in Brussels, Frank E. Billingsley, wears two hats as assistant professor of global entrepreneurship and business at Vesalius College (BCA’s host institution) and director of the Brussels program.
A native of Ohio, Frank has lived and worked in Brussels for over 18 years. He holds long-term residency in Belgium. Prior to moving to Belgium, Frank was a social worker working with clients in mental health and child welfare. During his time in Belgium he has been a middle and high school teacher, a university administrator, and a professor.
Frank holds a bachelor’s in Psychology from Ohio Dominican University, a master’s in Human Ecology for the Vrije Universiteit of Brussels, a master’s in Management and Human Resources from Boston University, and a Doctorate in Public Policy: Administration and Leadership from Walden University.
Frank is an avid traveler. He has visited over 30 countries in Europe, Asia, and Africa; further, he has visited 40 states in the United States. He has a passion for animal welfare and environmental causes.
