Monica Fernandez-CrespoBarcelona Resident Director

    Full-time Barcelona Resident Director, Professor Monica Fernandez-Crespo completed her B.A. and her Master’s in Philology and Applied Linguistics at the University of Barcelona, the city she was born in. She has worked as a scholar in different countries: the United Kingdom, China, and Turkey, where together with her teaching activities, she collaborated as a cultural liaison between those countries and Spain. This whole experience has brought her a universalist vision that is shown in the work she does. Nowadays she is the Resident Director for the Amizade-BCA program in Barcelona. She assists students in different ways to help them to adapt to the broadening experience of living abroad. She also acts as an academic advisor and counselor to ensure Amizade-BCA students have wider experience and encourage them to get involved in volunteering opportunities in Barcelona.
