Summer study abroad in London! Explore the many sights and sounds of this multicultural and diverse city. London offers many new experiences and incredible student discounts to accommodate a student budget. Study abroad in London during June or July and attend many festivals and activities available only during these summer months. BCA offers a variety of summer programs, including a 3-week June, 3-week July, and 6-week June and July option, giving you the flexibility to find the program that fits your schedule.

Located on 54 acres of parkland in southwest London, the University of Roehampton is an idyllic location offering students the best of both worlds: a green and pleasant environment with the bustling heart of central London just a Tube ride away. You will live on campus at the University of Roehampton with a single occupancy bedroom and share kitchen facilities with other students. Most students choose to take their laptops as your room will have an internet connection. London has an extensive public transportation system including buses and the London Underground (The Tube) metro system. BCA will provide you with a transportation card for London loaded with enough funds to get you started on your London exploration.
Throughout the BCA program, you will travel as a group to local points of interest in London. Some places and activities may include:

The University of Roehampton is London’s only traditional campus university and offers students the best of both worlds. Situated on 54 acres of parkland in southwest London, students get the experience of a beautiful campus setting, while also having easy access to bustling central London. The University of Roehampton is a friendly, modern, lively academic community with a growing international reputation for the high quality of its teaching and research.

LONDON RESIDENT DIRECTOR: IAN SUTTON
As a BCA student you have the support of our BCA Resident Director for the duration of the London summer program to help with any questions or concerns that may arise as you adjust to your new surroundings. Our RD acts as an academic advisor, cultural guide, and health and safety resource while you are abroad. Plus, our RD will be your guide for some fun and informative BCA activities throughout your time in England.
On-site support staff help you adjust to life in your new community and will be your cultural guide through the program.

BCA offers a wide variety of services and activities as part of our comprehensive fee, including:

Other costs not covered by BCA fee (estimates only):
- Airfare: $1000 – 1500
- Passport: $110
- Meals: $360 – $750 (depending on program length)
- Additional personal expenses: $200 – 300
Upon acceptance into a BCA program, you will be billed a $250 confirmation deposit through the online system for accepted students. This deposit is non-refundable and reserves your place in the program.

Fees billed to students directly are due prior to departure. If you must defer payment until financial aid disbursement, please contact Finance@BCAStudyAbroad.org. You can pay by personal check, money order or cashier’s check. Please send all payments to:

BCA charges an administrative fee of $20 for any returned check. We will not release your academic transcripts until all fees (including any additional charges for damages or obligations to the overseas university) are paid in full.
