Otago’s School of Physical Education offers world class facilities housing some of the most advanced equipment in the world, including the only swimming flume in the Southern Hemisphere, an environmental chamber, and an immersion tank. The School also has a comprehensive inventory of outdoor education equipment to support the practical experience programme, including kayaks, Canadian canoes, tents, and trekking and camping equipment.
