We are happy to work with faculty or advisors who would like to visit our program locations while traveling independently in the area. Below please find information on how to request a site visit and what can be arranged on your behalf.

Site Visit Request Process

If you will be travelling in the area and would like to visit on of our sites, please contact us at inquiry@BCAStudyAbroad.org to request a visit.  For multi-day site visits, this request should be submitted no less than 90 days in advance of visit date so there is ample time for planning.

BCA will review your request and respond within seven business days to indicate if the proposed visit can be arranged based on the availability of the BCA resident director and host university faculty and staff during the dates requested. For visits that can be accommodated, we will also provide a suggested itinerary for your visit at that time.

What’s Included During A Site Visit

BCA is happy to arrange in-city transportation costs related to BCA site visit activities (travel between campuses, to internship placements, etc.) for participants. We can also provide suggestions for travel to the program site and accommodation while on site, but those costs are the responsibility of the site visit participant.

Other costs that participants should budget for include:

  • Airfare and in-country travel to the program site
  • Meals, unless otherwise indicated in the itinerary
  • Housing during the site visit
  • Any passport and visa fees
  • Vaccinations and other necessary medical costs
