Update: there’s one more exciting summer opportunity we need to tell you about. The dates have just been confirmed for our summer 2020 program in Trentino, Italy.

Who wouldn’t want to spend part of their summer surrounded by the stunning Italian Alps? With this program, students can study abroad in Italy in the beautiful, culturally rich and off-the-beaten-track region of Trentino, a fascinating corner of Italy to explore. The region has a complex local heritage while still being well connected to major Italian cities (Verona, Venice, Milan, Florence, Rome), Austria and Germany.
Program dates:
Distance learning component: May 20th-28th
On-site component: June 3rd-25th
Program fees:
$5,250 (3 credits)
$6,250 (6 credits)
Course options include Heritage, Memory, and Identities in a European Borderland or Sustainability, Food, and Landscapes in the Italian Alps. Students can choose one course or challenge themselves to maximize their time in Italy by taking both courses. Each course combines interactive classwork and outdoor educational activities in a cohesive program that makes the most of its location in the Italian Alps. The program also includes opportunities to take part in cultural visits and meetings with local leaders. Students will start learning about the area and the subject matter before leaving home, thanks to online sessions with the instructors that they’ll meet in Italy. Courses are taught in English.
Did we mention that the location is absolutely stunning? Take a look at these photos:
