The fall semester deadline is April 15th, and the spring semester deadline is October 15th.


About the School

Where do BCA Vienna students study?

Students have the chance to study a wide range of subjects at FH Wien, a university located in the heart of Austria’s capital city. Ranked as one of the world’s best cities to live in, Vienna is known for its art, museums, theaters, architecture, and relaxing atmosphere. It is situated north of the Balkan Peninsula and considered a gateway to the rest of Europe—meaning there are plenty of cities nearby to explore!

How many native and international students attend this school?

There are between 2,500 and 3,000 students at FH Wien. Most are from Austria, while about 6% come from other European countries and 2% come from other countries.

What are the class sizes?

FH Wien caps classes at 40 students and integrates both international and Austrian students.

Living Situations

What are the accommodations like? Who will I be living with?

While cooking for themselves using a meal stipend, students reside in single rooms in co-ed campus dormitories with Austrian and international students. More details can be found here.

Are internships available?

There are no internships set up through BCA for this program, although your resident director may have suggestions for you if you choose to seek one out on your own.

Are volunteer opportunities available?

There are plenty of volunteering opportunities available such as refugee assistance, repair work, spending time with senior citizens, or working with the homeless.

Is Internet/Wi-Fi available?

Students will have Wi-Fi in their dorm room and in several hot spots around Vienna.
