Students with various levels of German language background are welcome to attend the program, as the program begins with an intensive German language course in Vienna, Austria. Students with no previous German experience are welcome to attend!

BCA Orientation

During the pre-semester phase of the BCA Marbug program, all students participate in an intensive language course, a cultural and history course, and they are also guided through a thorough orientation at both the Vienna and the Marburg locations. The orientation covers everything from shopping tips and basic navigation to setting your academic schedule.

Residency Permit

Students who remain in Germany for one semester or more must apply for a residency permit after arrival. The BCA resident director arranges the issuance of the residency permits from the local Ausländerbehörde. BCA provides further guidance on this process and students should reference this information on their BCA online account as soon as they are accepted.
