When are the deadlines to apply for this program?

The fall semester deadline is April 15. The spring semester deadline is October 15.


About the School

Where do BCA London students study?

This program takes place in south-west London. Students will study a variety of coursework at the friendly, well-respected University of Roehampton, with the hustle and bustle of central London just six miles away! In the cultural hub of the city, you won’t run out of things to do with restaurants, museums, the Globe Theater, the river Thames, and more right at the tip of your fingers.

How many native and international students attend this school?

There are about 10,000 total students at the University of Roehampton, including 6,000 undergraduates. International students make up 9% of the student body!

What are the class sizes?

Class size varies and can be small, but there are about 100 students in lectures.

What is the teaching and assessment style abroad?

You’ll spend two to three hours in each class once a week. However, the seminar and lecture portions of each class may take place on separate days. Assessment consists of essays, projects, presentations, lab reports, and exams.

What are some student life activities available on campus?

The Roehampton Students’ Union provides endless opportunities to get to know other students and become involved in campus life through societies, events, and volunteering! Find out more on their website. There’s also a Photo Frenzy scavenger hunt during orientation that gives you a chance to meet other students and become acquainted with the exciting city of London.


Living Situations

What are the accommodations like? Who will I be living with?

You’ll live alongside British students in residence halls, where you’ll have a single room, kitchen facilities, and optional private bathrooms. All residence halls are co-ed. Are internships available?

There are no internships set up through BCA for this program, although your resident director may have suggestions for you if you choose to seek one out on your own.

Are volunteer opportunities available?

There are also plenty of volunteering opportunities available through the Roehampton Students’ Union.

You will find Wi-Fi at the university, in the dorm rooms, and in many establishments throughout the city.
