Buckingham PalaceThroughout the BCA program, you will travel as a group to local points of interest in Exeter and London. Some places and activities may include:

  • Exeter Guildhall—the oldest  continuously used public building in England
  • Exeter Cathedral- including guided tour of the Cathedral and medieval roof
  • Exeter Cathedral Library—home to the Exon Domesday Book, Exeter Book, illustrated medieval manuscripts and ancient medical texts
  • Royal Albert Memorial Museum
  • River Thames walk in London
  • Knights Templar church and law courts
  • Houses of Parliament tour
  • Westminster Abbey
  • Harrod’s of London
  • Hyde Park

DartmeetYou may also opt to participate on a one-day excursion to Dartmoor & Widecombe-in-the-Moor for an additional fee. On this excursion, you may visit:

  • Lustleigh—an old and very beautiful moorland village
  • Dartmoor’s wild ponies, sheep, the remains of a bronze age village, remains of medieval tin mines and railroad lines made of granite rock
  • Postbridge—to see a clapper bridge about 3,000 years old
  • Dartmeet—where mountain streams come together
  • Widecombe-in-the Moor with spectacular views of the high moor and a unique 15th century church.
