I knew Dr. Deeter during his visits to Cochin University in India where I was responsible for the BCA programme. I came to know of his sad demise only last week from Dr. Brian Harley. I know it is too late to send my heart felt condolences to his grieving family. Still I wish to do it. I remember with respect and gratitude the scholar and the great human being in him. His passing away is a great loss to all of us who knew him well.
