Participant Requirements

Open to BCA alumni and their family. All participants must be 18 years of age or older.

Active Travel Notification

This program is moderately paced with a balance of included activities and free time to explore on your own. Travelers should be physically fit, able to walk distances of up to three miles and navigate stairs, hills and uneven terrain.

Physical Accessibility

All programs require physical independence and mobility. Any physical or mental condition that may require special medical attention or physical assistance (for example, the need for a wheelchair) must be reported in writing on the registration form. Travelers must be able to embark or disembark motor coaches and trains alone or with minimal assistance from your traveling companion and climb stairs and step over raised thresholds without assistance. Travelers requiring assistance must travel with a companion who will be responsible for handling equipment. The cost of the companion’s participation in the program must be covered by you or the companion.

Program Minimum

This program requires a minimum number of paying participants in order to operate. If this minimum number of participants is not met by February 15, 2017 you will be notified and a full refund of the deposit will be issued within 5 business days.

What’s Included in the Fee:

BCA Study Abroad offers a wide variety of services and activities as part of our comprehensive fee, including:

  • Housing in hotels
  • Breakfast daily at hotel
  • 3 group dinners
  • BCA Marburg Resident Director and BCA Central Office staff member as guides
  • Historical tours of: Vienna, Bratislava, Salzburg, Berlin, Marburg, Strasbourg
  • Tea at Café Mozart in Vienna
  • Salzburg Card
  • Other cultural activities and lectures
  • All gratuities for guides and drivers
  • International medical insurance and emergency evacuation services

Other costs not covered by the BCA fee for which you should budget include:

  • Domestic and international airfare to the program
  • Meals other than those outlined above
  • U.S. Passport
  • Estimated personal expenses

Program Deposit & Billing

A $500 program deposit due with the submission of this registration form. Payment can be submitted via check to “BCA Study Abroad” or by credit card by completing the credit card information on the registration form.

Participants will be billed after February 15, 2017 and full payment will be due by April 1, 2017.

Cancellation Policy

All registrations are binding and non-refundable after February 15, 2017. In the event you cancel your participation after February 15, 2017 you will still be billed in full and payment will be due to BCA Study Abroad by April 1, 2017.  In addition, any applicable airline cancellations fees that incurred will be your responsibility.

Cancellations for all or any part of the trip including pre/post program reservations will not be effective until received in writing in the offices of BCA Study Abroad.

Trip Insurance

Because are cancellation policies are strictly enforced, we strongly recommend that you purchase trip cancellation insurance. In the event that you must cancel your participation in a travel program, trip cancellation insurance may be the only source of reimbursement.
