Summer Peer Advisor:
BCA Marburg | Year 2015-2016
Nick is an Economics major with a German minor from Elizabethtown College. Because of his Irish and Danish heritage, Nick decided to study abroad in Europe to explore his family history during his junior year. Through BCA, Nick chose a semester program in Marburg, Germany; a central location where he could easily visit most of Europe from. After realizing his joy for the German language, Nick extended his stay a second semester to solidify his language skills and new friendships. At E-town, Nick spends his time conducting research for a community outreach service program that combats homelessness in Elizabethtown, and participates regularly in German club to maintain his newly acquired language skills. As a Peer Advisor for BCA, Nick looks forward to helping students take the opportunity to have an experience as moving as his!
Semester Peer Advisors:
BCA Chennai | Fall 2015
Rachel is an occupational therapy student with a minor in Religious Studies from Elizabethtown College. She decided to add some adventure to her college life and expand her cultural horizons by studying abroad with BCA’s Chennai, India Program. While in India, she had the opportunity to explore dozens of charitable organizations, complete an internship of her choosing, make lasting friendships, and (of course) eats lots of delectable curry. At Elizabethtown College, she proudly sings in a student-run a capella group and conducts independent research for her senior thesis. She loves working as a peer advisor for BCA Study Abroad, where she can collaborate with students to ensure that they also have a rewarding study abroad experience.
